3. Tank Cleans And Chlorinations

It's a very common sight for an engineer to get up to the cold water tank in the loft to find the tank without a lid, insulation and relevant fittings to keep it up to date with regulations. This makes it impossible to stop insects, birds, mice, dust etc, to fall in and form breeding grounds for bacteria and mould. If you or your children keep getting stomach upsets this could be the cause. The cold water storage tank needs to be kept clean, although you're not meant to drink this water, you wash with it and also put it in your mouth when brushing your teeth.
